Eric Fielden’s Journey to Financial Freedom

On this episode of the Ty Brady Way, Ty is joined by with a long-time friend, Eric Fielden. Eric shares his journey from working as a landscape architect to transitioning into the insurance industry. Eric reflects on the challenges of managing a landscaping business, such as dealing with employees and state regulations, which eventually led him to seek a more sustainable career in insurance.

 

Eric explains how the insurance industry offered him a way to remain his own boss without the complexities of managing employees, while also providing long-term financial stability. Eric also highlights the benefits of the industry, including residual income and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients. Additionally, Eric discusses the value of speaking Spanish, which has allowed him to cater to an underserved demographic, making a significant impact in their lives by helping them navigate their insurance needs.

 

Ty and Eric also touch on the importance of mentorship and support within the industry. Eric credits Ty and his team at Kellogg for guiding him through the complexities of the insurance world and helping him find success. Finally, Eric shares how he is looking forward to building his own team and continuing to help others thrive in the industry while sharing his experiences with new agents.
